Product Description

Medical hanging tower is indispensable multi-functional medical equipment for modern operating room. It is mainly composed of basic frame, connecting tube, rotating joint, rotating arm, box body, instrument platform and infusion stand.
The cabinet is equipped with a lifting and lowering liquid rack, a multi-layer instrument platform, a drawer, a medical gas terminal, a universal power socket, a protective grounding terminal, a network socket, a telephone socket, and can carry a variety of medical instruments and equipment.
The instrument platform features a new rounded bumper design that allows each platform to adjust position independently. The cabinet can be rotated by 340° and equipped with anti-drift damping device for precise rotation and positioning. The rotating arm can be arbitrarily positioned within a certain radius by pneumatic brakes, enabling medical personnel to operate various medical equipment handily.
The main body of the hanging tower is made of high-strength aluminum alloy profile which is formed once. The appearance treatment adopts imported anti-UV and anti-ozone raw materials. It is cured by high-pressure electrostatic spraying and high-temperature baking to form the surface of the composite material. The color remains unchanged for a long time. The agent is cleaned to completely eliminate the pollution.

Installation Instructions

Precautions
1. Full implementation of products (GB 9706.1-2007) "Medical Electrical Equipment Part 1: General Requirements for Safety"
The type of electric shock protection belongs to Class I equipment. The protection against electric shock not only relies on basic insulation, but also adopts additional safety measures connected with the protective grounding wire, so that the accessible metal parts will not be charged even if the basic insulation fails.
2. The protective grounding wire supplied to this product must be safe and reliable, and should be taken separately from the grounding bus bar.
3. The medical valve provided to the product must be equipped with a medical maintenance valve at the end to facilitate installation and maintenance.
4. The rotation angle of the rotating arm and the box of this product is limited. Do not force the limit device to avoid damage to the equipment.
5. The instrument platform load capacity of this product is limited. Please refer to the technical parameters of the load capacity to place the medical instrument.
6. The surface of this product is sprayed with anti-UV and anti-ozone materials. Do not hit or knock with sharp objects to avoid damage to the coating.
7. In order to ensure the load-bearing factor safety load requirements, the base frame and the roof of the equipment must be reliably connected by expansion bolts to ensure that they can withstand more than 300KG.
8. The network power supply should have the quality used in a typical commercial or hospital environment.


1. Conditions that should be met before the product is installed
1.1 The location of the device installation has been determined. And will not interfere with other devices.
1.2 Each gas pipeline has been laid to the equipment installation and equipped with a medical maintenance valve.
(The model of medical maintenance valve is 6YC, the interface thread is M14×1.5)
1.3 The power cord has been reserved (single-phase L+N+PE) with a specification of 3×2.5mm2
1.4 The cable and telephone line should be prefabricated with a crystal head.
1.5 The device does not have a power switch. Users need to install an air switch on the wall of the room.
The air switch has a specification of 20A and must be able to cut both the phase and neutral lines of the power supply at the same time.

2. Install the base frame
2.1 With the base frame installation position as the center, open a round hole in the ceiling with a diameter of Φ360mm.
2.2 Fix the base frame to the concrete floor with M12×100 expansion bolts.
    (Supporting drill bit 16mm, matching wrench 20)
2.3 The height of the base frame is 150mm from the bottom of the ceiling.

3.1 Install the top cover, flange, and round nut onto the connecting tube assembly in the order shown.

3.2 Install the connecting pipe assembly to the base frame with a screw. Use the leveling aid for the installation process.
Make sure the flanges are installed in a horizontal position.

4. Install the rotating arm
Install the swivel arm onto the connecting pipe (note that the limit of the rotating arm is aligned with the wall)

5.1 Carefully thread the air pipe and wires through the rotating arms and connecting pipes until they are above the ceiling.
It is docked with the service valve and the wire head reserved near the base frame.

There are two options for the air supply of the pneumatic brake of the tower. The unit with compressed air is the preferred brake air source. For units without compressed air, oxygen should be selected as the brake air source.
The special air pipe color of the pneumatic brake is (transparent), and a three-way joint is pre-installed. Please cut the corresponding air pipe according to the type of brake gas selected, and then connect it to the three-way joint as shown.
5.3 Installing the mating plug of the solenoid valve control line

7. Install the completed tower to test whether all functions are normal, then deliver the acceptance and fill in the installation acceptance form.



Instructions
Medical instruments can be placed on the instrument platform according to user needs.

1. Box rotation operation instructions:
Rotating the box by hand can rotate arbitrarily within the range of 330°, and the box is fixed by the anti-drift device when released.

2. Gas terminal instructions:
Look for the type of gas terminal and use the power source plug into the terminal socket to use it. If you need to remove the gas terminal plug, first press the gland on the air outlet to unlock it. The plug will pop up a small step and then pull out the plug.

3. Power socket instructions:
This equipment is equipped with a universal power socket, which can support a variety of common power plugs, but the power equipment must be AC220V specifications, the current consumption is less than 10A.

4. Grounding terminal instructions:
This equipment is equipped with a grounding terminal. Connect the grounding wire of the medical instrument that needs to be grounded to the grounding terminal.

5. Rotating arm operation instructions:
Pressing the brake button with your finger does not release, the rotary arm brake device is unlocked, and the handle can be moved to the desired position by gently pulling the handle. When the button is released, the rotary arm automatically locks at the current position.

Maintenance and maintenance
1. Equipment cleaning
After the equipment is used for a period of time, the outer casing and the panel may accumulate dust and other contaminants, and the equipment must be cleaned.
It can be scrubbed with 75% medical alcohol and a soft cloth.
Note: All parts of the equipment should not be scrubbed with acid, alkaline solution or abrasive.

2. Regular inspection
The medical pendant is a permanent hanging device, and the safety of its installation is crucial. The state of the suspension column connecting screws must be checked regularly every year, and it should be tightened immediately if it is loose.

3. Electrical inspection
The connection of the protective earthing wire must be checked regularly every year to ensure a secure connection. The power socket should be replaced in time due to frequent loosening or oxidation due to frequent plugging and unplugging.
Note: The network power must be turned off before electrical inspection.

4. The service life of this equipment is 10 years. After the expiration of the period of use, the user should organize the repair and maintenance and re-evaluate, and still be safe and effective to continue to use.
